    Azerbaijan welcomed the China Visitors Summit (CVS) in Baku on November 17, bringing together leading tourism representatives from Azerbaijan and more than 50 major travel companies from China. The event focused on strengthening bilateral tourism ties, discussing sector trends, and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
    During the summit, officials highlighted key priorities such as the rollout of the “China Ready” program in Azerbaijan and expanding marketing efforts across the Chinese market. The Chinese Ambassador emphasized the growing significance of tourism in Azerbaijan–China relations, while ATB’s CEO outlined ongoing partnerships with prominent Chinese platforms and revealed plans to introduce a specialized training program for Chinese-speaking guides.
    The summit included B2B meetings and a regional tour covering Shamakhi, Gabala, Shaki, and Gakh, allowing Chinese industry professionals to experience Azerbaijan’s tourism potential firsthand. Visitor numbers continue to surge, with arrivals from China rising sharply in both 2024 and 2025.
