Belgrade–Baku Flights Launch: Strengthening Travel Between Serbia and AzerbaijanAzerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), part of AZCON Holding, has signed a codeshare agreement with Air Serbia, the national airline of Serbia, creating a new and convenient travel connection between Belgrade and Baku.
Starting May 2026, flights between Belgrade and Baku will operate twice per week, with the inaugural flight scheduled for May 3, 2026. As part of this partnership, AZAL will place its marketing code on Air Serbia-operated services, allowing passengers to benefit from seamless booking, improved connectivity, and convenient travel between Serbia and Azerbaijan.
The new connection is expected to strengthen tourism, business cooperation, and investment interest between Serbia and Azerbaijan, further increasing international accessibility to Baku and supporting growing travel demand between the two countries.
This cooperation between the two national carriers marks an important milestone in expanding international connectivity. Passengers will benefit from coordinated services, improved flexibility, and enhanced travel opportunities, while strengthening tourism, business, and cultural exchange between Azerbaijan and Serbia.
